Established in 2004, Entertainment company Cohesion provides the hosts, celebrity artists and entertainment for hundreds of major corporate award ceremonies & events.
We also create exciting event & marketing concepts for businesses and Arts companies, run the marketing for Light House Media Centre (www.light-house.co.uk), assist artists with their own bookings and create our own comedy and music events. See Live Shows
Cohesion builds relationships with event managers to really understand their event, audience and goals and we are experts in keeping costs within a tight budget. When an act is booked through Cohesion, the artist fully understands their role and the impact you want them to make.
A small company with continuity of staff from year to year, Cohesion has low overheads and a flexible working day to suit client needs. Based near Birmingham, but working mainly at London events, this enables clients to save money. We also arrange for clients to go as guests to see potential performers live, ahead of booking.
An introduction from our Managing Director, Julie Homfray:
“For 13 years Cohesion has built a name and reputation for great corporate entertainment.
Our role is to research and recommend acts for particular audiences,
liaise with artists and management,
negotiate and contract acts,
organise payment, transport and logistics and in most cases:
stage manage the artist on the day of an event.
Cohesion bespoke projects over the years have ranged from iPad app production to creating a Geocaching experience for 600 Halfords staff, to teaching arts marketing to underemployed creatives in Wolverhampton.
For five years we have been the in-house marketing and event team for Light House Media Centre, developing audiences, looking for opportunities and significantly contributing towards a 50% increase in attendance, despite a very difficult economic environment and minimal marketing budgets. Our role includes monthly programme creation, website management, flyer and poster design, social media management, event creation and management (for example the Willard Wigan Homecoming exhibition launch) and working with community groups to maximise venue use and recruiting ambassadors.
We also run community shows such as Juney’s Comedy Club and a cleaned up comedy show ‘Comedy with Cake’ which has performed in venues from small arts centres to a disused shop in Lichfield.
We are always keen to work on new projects, large or small, and look forward to bringing Cohesion to your event!”
