Here at Cohesion one of our annual highlights is visiting acts at the Edinburgh Festival, so that we can recommend more artistes to clients. In no paticular order, here are our favourites for Corporate Events from Edinburgh 2007....
Paul Sinha
Comedian. Refreshingly intelligent (but not enough to be offputting) Paul plays on his geeky, chess loving childhood to great comic effect.
Mark Watson
Lively, fast paced comedy show - very likeable and worked hard to make sure the crowd were happy. Mark has recently released his second novel and provided another of his 24 hour shows at Edinburgh. As seen on 8 out of 10 cats and Mock the Week.
Tim Fitzhigham
After dinner speaker. We saw this actor / singer in two different cabaret shows, however for corporate events we would recommend him as a brilliant dinner speaker.Very charismatic, articulate and witty.
Nina Conti
Our favourite act of the festival. Nina's repertoire of characters has expanded, and this show displayed her excellent acting abilities as well as her brilliant and cheeky ventriloquist skills. Only act to make me both laugh and cry at the same time. She's also very charming, pretty and is great for hosting.
Rich Hall
Again, the American star of QI was a joy to watch, very dry humour, very likeable and with genuine rapport built up with his audience.
Adam Bloom
Fast paced consistently hilarious comedian, energetic, always has brilliant reviews. And a lovely, approachable person too.
Micky Flanaghan
Cheeky cockney comic, who tells a great story about his life as a fish porter, through teaching to life as a comic.
Stephen Grant - Hardworking, fast paced, adaptable and most importantly, consistently funny. Clients love Stephen and he's able to turn his hand to pretty much anything that's thrown at him, whether doing stand up, hosting / compering or running a game show, he's the man!
Howard Read and Little Howard.
Unique comedy duo. I have seen both his adult and kids shows several times. Howard is a fantastic animator as well as comedian, and Little Howard is his cartoon sidekick, brought to life on the big screen and complete with brilliant punchlines by the secret click of the button. Howard has also made a big impression in the corporate market with his bespoke shows.
